We get a lot of complaints about the receivers that we sell when customers submit jobs to NGS OPUS and the solutions are noisy or outright fail.
The answer is always to wait a day or two and resubmit the job. Waiting allows the nearby CORS stations observation data to be posted to the NGS RINEX data repository and subsequently be used to process the seemingly errant job.
I have noticed that most customers don’t like the answer ‘Just wait a day or two and resubmit the job.’ While this is the correct answer, and there is nothing that we can do to change the answer, our customers want more information.
